Bears face tough challenge in Atlanta

This could be the most interesting game of the week in the NFL betting. While neither team is among the select group of premier teams in the league, they’re both just step back and both have major post season hopes.

The Chicago Bears enter the game at 3-2 and plenty of reasons for hope with new QB Jay Cutler and the defense playing at a very high level. The offense has been highly disappointing so far this NFL betting season averaging just 305 yards a game (second worst in the NFC). But all the ingredients are there for an effective NFL football betting attack and it’s just a matter of time before this unit starts rolling.

The Falcons are a team that are also hoping to make a serious playoff bid. At 3-1 this is the best squad that no one in the NFL football news is talking about. After dismantling a good Niners squad on the road last week the fans should be all juiced up for this game in Atlanta.

Matt Ryan has been flawless and with the emergence of Roddy White to counterbalance the running skills of Michael Turner and the addition of over the middle threat TE Tony Gonzalez there may not be a more balanced attack in the NFL betting. Chicago’s defense will have its hands full as will the offense. The Falcons have added a pass rush in the off season and Jay Cutler won’t have a lot of time to get rid of the ball. NFL betting gurus have made the Dirty Birds 3 ½ point favorites at home, but the game shouldn’t be that close.
