Colts Look to Remain Perfect against the Niners

Can any NFL betting fan remember the last time the Colts played a decent team? So far through the first month and half of the NFL betting season it seems like Indy has been playing CFL teams. But the schedule gets a lot tougher in the next few weeks and the Colts will have their hands full when a re-invigorated Niners squad comes to the Hoosier state on Sunday.

San Fran NFL football betting fans have already seen their team take on several identities over the short course of seven weeks into the season but they look to have found one that has stuck. Former number one pick overall Alex Smith lead the team to near come-from-behind victory last week in the NFL football betting odds and has been upgraded to the starters roll.

First round pick WR Michael Crabtree also made his first appearance for the squad and while hardly a game changing performance (5 rec, 56 yds) he did pretty well for a guy with only several days of practice. Vernon Davis has also finally living up to his potential as s former number one pick.

The Niners defense is also not to be overlooked and has the potential to be a top-ten unit in the league. Still this team probably isn’t good enough to beat the Colts in their own backyard. But there are plenty of people in the NFL football news that think this team can at least slow down Peyton Manning and his band of receivers enough to make things interesting. The Niners are giving up 236 yards passing a game and must get tighter against Manning. The NFL betting spread is 11 points; look for the Niners to cover.
