Colts Will Feast on Rams in St. Louis

Everything seems to be going right for the Indianapolis Colts in NFL betting this year. And so long as Peyton Manning stays healthy –which seems likely considering he’s never missed a start- this team will roll. Playing against whipping boys like the St Louis Rams doesn’t hurt either. And even though the Rams seem to be getting less awful with every passing game they still won’t have enough to beat the Colts.

Take for example the fact that Manning and his receivers constitute the best passing attack in the NFL betting and are putting up superb numbers, even by Manning’s own lofty standards. Manning has a 114 passer rating, averages 329 ypg and has 12 TDs in five games.

Factor into the equation the fact that the Rams have a rotten pass defense, giving up 384 yards a game in the air, and you’ll see that things are not hopeful for the NFL football betting fans in St Louis.

Manning should feast on this feeble defense and maybe even set a few passing records. Fantasy football players that have Colts receivers on their squads are salivating.

The NFL football betting odds favor the Colts by 13 and it doesn’t seem like the Rams are going to cover that spread. There is some good NFL football news for the Rams, QB Mark Bulger looks to be close to healthy and Steven Jackson is playing like a beast.

But in the end, the team’s biggest liability, its passing game, will be exploited to death by the Colts. Look for another huge passing day for Manning and another frustrating loss at home for the Rams.
