Jags at Chiefs Has all the Makings of a Rotten Game

What do you get when put two teams with a combined NFL betting record of 4-10 and that are averaging a combined 17 points per game? You get an awful match up and quite possibly the sloppiest game of the week. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be a good game.

The 3-4 fighting Jaguars of Jacksonville will host the 1-6 struggling Chiefs of Kansas City in a game that almost no one will watch. These two teams have inhabited the AFC cellar all NFL betting season.

The Chief’s poor play is hardly a surprise as the team has very little talent and has been rotten for years. However, the poor NFL football betting stats and performance so far by newly acquired franchise QB Matt Cassel have raised a few eyebrows and proves once again how great the Pats receiving corps is.

But not all the blame can be placed on the QBs shoulders especially when he barely has enough time to hand the ball off. And when he does the result has been terrible and it will get worse without Larry Johnson in this game.

The Jags actually had some expectations before the season began and have been one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL football news headlines.

Nonetheless, David Gerrard and the Jags offense should have a field day at home against a defense that is giving up 26 points a game and 252 ypg in the air.

The home team is favored by 6 points in the betting lines and barring any crazy injury or divine intervention the Jags should have their way with the crumbling Chiefs.
