Struggling Panthers Host Struggling Bills

Losing your starting QB is never a good thing for NFL betting, but when you’re 2-4 and 1-2 on the road it could be a blessing in disguise. Bills QB Trent Edwards is expected to be on the bench when Buffalo travels to Carolina to take on the Panthers and little known Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to get the start.

That’s a mouthwatering prospect for the Cats and star DE Julius Peppers whose been feasting on QB over the past two NFL betting matchups (4 sacks, forced fumble).

Fitzpatrick put up abysmal numbers after taking over last week (10-25, 116 yards) but was huge when it mattered most and got a rare win for the Bills. The passing game in Buffalo has been in a coma since week one and Fitzy’s start might just be the thing it’s been missing. The O-line has been awful this year but in the half the QB played, he wasn’t sacked once. Could be a good omen.

Things are going well for Carolina as well, as their running game is coming off a monster performance with both DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart going over 100 yards in a win over the Bucs. Jake Delhomme is still awful.

Keys to this NFL football betting competition will be the Bills stopping the run and the Cats trying to stop the possibly re-ignited passing game of Buffalo. Neither team’s defense is very pretty and it would NFL football news should either unit have a big game.

A close game to call, but look for the Bills to get the W on the road.
