In game one of NFL betting against a hard-nosed Titan’s defense the Steelers came up big at key moments and gutted out a tough win. In a very similar game in Week two against the Bears, Pittsburgh fell apart at the same key moments and looked awful in the loss. The question on NFL betting fans minds is which Steelers team will show on Sunday in Cincinnati.
The same sort of Jekyll-Hyde identity seems to sum up the Bengals as well. After being beaten by the luckiest play in NFL football betting history in Week one by a poor Denver squad, they stormed back to beat a very good Packers team on the road.

NFL betting on the Vikings with Adrian Peterson in your backfield your offense is going to run-centric. No ifs, ands or buts, Peterson gets the ball every time he’s able and your chances of scoring, or at least moving the ball in big chunks are very high. But the Vikings have other NFL betting weapons on offense and this year with the addition of Brett Favre at QB, rookie WR Percy Harvin has a chance to make a big impact on very good team.
So far the NFL betting news regarding rookies has primarly focused on QBs: Matt Stafford and Mark Sanchez. Stafford because of his huge paycheck and Sanchez because of this huge ability.

Mark Sanchez may be the most popular Jets QB since Joe Willy Namath. Not a bad gig after only two NFL betting career starts.
Give the perennially fickle and every disappointed Jets fans time…they’ll turn on him. But for now, after his first two career NFL starts, Sanchez has been not only the best rookie QB in NFL betting, but one of the best QBs in the NFL period.

For all the cash Michael Crabtree is soon to be making you think he could afford better council. For those of you not familiar with the bizarre NFL betting antics of the rookie WR, Crabtree, a tremendous receiving talent, remains the only pick of the 2009 NFL draft unsigned. Why? No one is quite sure.
In an unprecedented maneuver Crabtree is refusing to sign with the San Francisco Forty-Niners unless he is the highest paid WR taken in the draft. No problem, right? Well, the problem is that he wasn’t the first WR selected in the draft. According to the unwritten NFL betting rules of the draft –which no one has ever dared buck- you are paid according to your slot in the draft. For example, Crabtree was taken tenth overall, therefore he will be paid less than the ninth pick and more than the eleventh pick. It is not a difficult pay scale to grasp.

NFL betting fans can hardly expect anything less from the Detroit Lions, but the most inept franchise in professional sports seems to have gotten it wrong once again. It’s still much too early to declare with any certainty, but after a preseason and a week of NFL betting action, passing on USC’s Mark Sanchez and opting for Georgia’s Matthew Stafford does not seem like a prudent decision.
With the top pick in the NFL draft last season, the Lions could have taken any player in the land. They opted for Stafford as many teams would have. His rifle arm was an attractive asset for GMs looking for wins in the NFL betting odds. But there were also plenty of red flags. He made risky throws and took chances that might have worked in college, but not in NFL football betting action.
